About the team
Baku Travel Partner is a team of local guides who spend the day with visitors to Baku and deal with the city for them. A guide comes on foot or by car (with a driver), for as many hours as the visitor books, with no group and no fixed route. The guides help with shopping in malls, the bazaar and carpet shops, book tables at restaurants that are good right now, take guests to clubs that are hard to get into alone, show the main sights from the Old City and Maiden Tower to the Boulevard and Flame Towers, and meet guests at the airport. Visitors come from many countries, and everything is arranged in a WhatsApp chat.

01The request
A team of private guides wanted a website that turns visitors from different countries into WhatsApp conversations.
02The obstacle
Four languages, including Arabic with right-to-left text, and a client who edits the texts himself.
03What was built
A custom theme where the texts are edited in a simple editor, while the WhatsApp button and phone number stay the same in every language. Arabic has its own font and text direction, and the FAQ answers are marked up for Google search.
04The result
From any page, a visitor is one tap away from chatting with a guide.
